Here are some of our best dishes! It is a great snack to accompany sake!

Good evening. This is Sukiyabashi Edowan.
We are approaching the weekend and it looks like we will have another flurry of snow around Sunday! Please be careful as the ground could freeze and you could get hurt!
Today, I would like to talk a little about [Nameko] and its origin!

The dish called namero was conceived by fishermen in Kamisou and Awa (now southern Chiba Prefecture) to prepare freshly caught fish on board their unstable boats.

It is said that miso (soybean paste) was first used instead of soy sauce because soy sauce would spill over in the rough seas on a boat!

"The more you lick the plate, the better it tastes!" That's why
It is said to have been named "Nameko!

Edoowan also offers this dish as an excellent dish with nori seaweed! It goes well with sake.
